2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, 1227 Les Acacias (GE), Switzerland. The European Commission has issued an adequacy decision for Switzerland. When you visit the site, the server processes technically necessary data in log files: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser identifier and referrer. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (secure and stable operation). Log files are deleted after the retention period set by the hosting provider. A data processing agreement with Infomaniak is in place.

3. Cookies, tracking and fonts

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or tracking services. If you hide the background video, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage so the video stays hidden on your next visit. It never leaves your device. All fonts are served from our own server; no connection to Google Fonts is made.

4. Videos

Short gameplay clips and the background video are served from our own server. The trailers are embedded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and only load when you press play. Only then is data such as your IP address transmitted to Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; a transfer to the USA is possible (Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). The legal basis is your consent by clicking, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. Details: policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we process your email address to send you news about Cobra Strike. When you press Sign up, your email address is sent directly to our newsletter provider; nothing is loaded from it before that. Sign-up uses double opt-in: you receive an email to confirm your subscription. The legal basis is your consent, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

Unsubscribe: you can withdraw your consent at any time with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every newsletter email, or by contacting us by email. Your address is then removed from the list.

The newsletter is sent via EmailOctopus as our data processor. Data is processed in the United Kingdom, for which the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision. Details: emailoctopus.com/legal/gdpr.

6. Contact by email

If you email us, we process your details to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed.

7. External links

Links to Steam, itch.io (interactive cockpit), Bluesky, YouTube and Google Drive (press kit) lead to external websites. Data is only transmitted to the respective provider when you click a link; their privacy policy applies there.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
